The project wave field synthesis creates a virtual stage in front of the audience with individually adaptable elements. The stage moves around the person and impresses with unique sound scenes. The project is part of the master class Sound Design. The focus was the relation of different sound events and the possibility to be able to adjust them. The implementation is done with 16 JBL loudspeakers and the software Max 7, which can be controlled with a DAW plug-in. The user can control it via TouchOSC and an iPad Air 2. The sound events have been designed and composed by myself and should contribute to this uniqueness of the project. Especially the possibility of creating or manipulating a custom sonic image is a true interactive audio experience.
